we care for tree care
At Holland Tree Service, we care about your trees as much as your property. If you don't necessarily need that limb taken out, or if that tree really poses no risk to your property or surrounding structures, we'll let you know. I don't like removing anything which you don't absolutely need for me to. I will continue to outright talk people out of work, if they don't need it. That's part of my Moral Code. Having said that, there is no getting around the Emerald Ash Borer right now. I'm happy to say that 90% of my current work is on these standing dead ash trees. If you have one, well - you've found the right people!
full property care
We offer other services for your property, too! We frequently move large objects, like trees, mostly.. and this 300 pound stone urn! And any other items you may have around your property which need to be moved. Other services we offer to keep your property pristine and well-maintained are: pressure washing patios, sidewalks, carports and driveways, as well as gutter cleaning and gutter guard installation.
your calm after the storm
Storm damage is a thing here in the Midwest. We have thunderstorms, windstorms, tornados, lingering effects of hurricanes from the Gulf, all of it. I believe we're also the only state to have 70F degree weather, then snow, AND THEN A TORNADO, all in the same week. Anyways, if the wind has made one of your favorite trees unhappy, we would love to make it a little bit happier and clean up its wounds. Just because it's been injured, doesn't mean it can't live (and thrive, for that matter)! Just ask me about it! I've been run over by a car.
Stump grinding
Stump grinding is its own work of art. If we remove a tree, we can grind the stump down below the ground. We offer two options for this: the hole which is left of the stump is either filled in with the mulch from grinding it, or, the mulch can be completely removed and topsoil can be put in its place, with grass seed spread over it (if the time of year applies). Either way, typically, you can then mow over it. If you have other old stumps around your property, either in your way of mowing, or otherwise: we can remove those as well.
